Invasive Plant Removal and Tree Planting

December 2, 2018

RESCHEDULED FOR TOMORROW, DECEMBER 2nd due to inclement weather

Call for Volunteers

Join us December 2nd!

10 AM – 1 PM.

Come help restore Richland Creek habitats. Sign up to volunteer below! We’ll be removing winter creeper ground cover from habitats so the old trees can survive, and then plant native trees.

Park at the Wyoming Trailhead, located on the corner of 51st Avenue and Wyoming Avenue, or even better, find a safe place to park along Wyoming Avenue. Please do not block driveways or traffic when parking on the street.  Then take a short walk on the Greenway to the work site, as shown on the map below.

Wear your work clothes, shoes or boots, and dress for the current weather conditions.  Feel free to bring your own shovel and gloves. Supplies and refreshments will be provided to volunteers.

If we need to reschedule due to weather conditions, we’ll post the change on this event post and email you if you’ve signed up.

Thanks to Greenways for Nashville for partnering with us on this project!
